Lots of activity at the feeders. The ruby-throats have consumed a quart of sugar water in just two days! Previously they were averaging a quart every three days. I can tell that half of the hummers are juvenile males. One already has a number of new ruby feathers coming in at his throat. It seems to me that the juvies spend a lot more time chasing each other and scolding than the adults do.
