Morning of 19th day, the larva was hanging from the lid as a J-larva, in intervals of contractions and rest. The larva shed its skin and pupated in the afternoon at 2:30. After 4pm the pupa appeared mainly still. At 7:30pm, shown as a delicate chrysalis, with droplets of fluid weeping from its spiracles.

Room temperature ranged from 77F to 79F.
