I hope you can see this little female ruby throated hummingbird on the right side of the feeder having herself a drink! I startled her as I walked outside my front door! She was flitting around when I stepped out, then she finally settled in at the right side feeder flower. I think my summer residents may have already left, and this one is traveling through, but still hanging around for a few days. In past years, I have stopped seeing hummingbirds at my house in Wauconda, Illinois around September 17.
