There were still three here this morning, possibly four. They were chirping at me from the pine trees at dawn. I saw a couple on the feeder and one feeding from the salvias. It is afternoon now and very quiet. After a cold (almost freezing night), it is sunny and warmer and I think that the final juvenile residents have flown.
The fighting has stopped and the silence is deafening. Safe travels my beautiful little birds!
