Day 29 since finding a milkweed leaf on the ground with the egg, monarch (m01) day ten of chrysalis, color was black early in the morning, then it eclosed early afternoon, split proboscis seen moments after eclosing as it flexed back and forth grabbing its pupa shell especially by the spiracle holes, pumping its body expanding its wings which were fully expanded after about fifteen minutes, then after an hour and a half of flexing its wings it first let go fully of its pupa shell and began exploring. It will be allowed to rest and mature in peace until tomorrow morning to be released.

Room temperature ranged from 70F to 80F the past two days.
