Sightings report image

Date: 09/13/2023

Number: 1

6.2 mm larva (meaured with beam calipers) may be flying only in mid October.
This larva was feeding on a small tender leaved Common milkweed growing through the patio stones!
Old dried and seed pod laden milkweed is being removedwith full leaf by leafinspection. No herbicide or pesticide used in this urban "back yard".

I shall be checking for more of this brood at three industrial sites outside Point Pelee National Park, since a late October broodis routine for this area.
