Rosetta McClain Gardens, Scarborough, ON, Canada. Located on the Scarborough Bluffs - 200 feet above Lake Ontario.
Tagged 100 monarchs between 10:30 and 16:30. We were amazed because the temperature was only 17-16 degrees C during this time period. The sun would come out and then disappear. When the sun was out the monarchs seem to pop out of nowhere. About 200 were observed flying directional and westward. Some at 25 other at 50 plus feet above ground.
