Monarch (OTHER Observations)
Sightings report image

Date: 09/14/2023

Number: 1

I caught the action!!! She’s a beautiful lady! Not huge, but not small either. I’m torn- let nature take its course or rescue her until her wings dry!
It’s 5pm here and it will be chilly tonight and in the morning, sun goes down around 8pm. She’s made it this far! She found a chair under a canopy. Had to crawl across gravel, sidewalk blocks and an outdoor carpet then up the leg of a chair. Yikes!!
Had lots of eggs and cats on the milkweed this year in the yard, but I didn’t see any non captive survive except this one. We found it after all the captive monarchs had been released.
It’s really late, I hope she makes the Journey safely!!
