1pm, FIRST monarch sighted here, for me!! MADE MY DAY!! A BEAUTIFUL, hungry F, busily sipping on ancient native lantana and cowpen daisies, with frost weed budding too.
BLESSED on ONE day with this lovely monarch AND a HALF INCH of RAIN ... first measurable in MANY MONTHS!!!
No pic, SHE was moving too quickly bloom to bloom, but coming back again and again. AND SEVERAL other butterfly & bee type critters too.

Now, FLOWERS, burst forth to fuel
coming migrators!! Please, and some fall grasses for hungry cattle & wildlife would be wonderful!!!
