Four mature balld eagles and one immature one fishing, sitting in trees at the shore of our camp. Two adults tried to lay a beating on the young one and mother intervened and took baby to a trees. Lotsa diving and attacking and a lot of calling and then from across the bay the male came like a big jet with a single purpose. It was no contest and he put the run on the intruders…did one flyby of the mom and youngster and then turned and went back across the bay to his roost….lasted about a half an hour on a bright sunny day…best entertainment of the summer. This is the most birds I have seen at camp in over 60 years
