Observation time was between 7:30pm till 8:00pm. Temperature at the time was 69 degrees with overnight low expected to be 53 degrees. Wind was 4-5 mph direction unknown with cloudy skies. Only two female hummers seen at the same time at my five feeders this evening which is down from the usual 6-8 hummers I have been seeing simultaneous at the five feeders. My last visual sighting of a male ruby-throated hummer was about a week ago on September 5, 2023. Hummers were also getting nectar from several varieties of Rose-of-Sharon bushes, garden phlox, hanging baskets of petunias and some zinnias.
