Sightings report image

Date: 09/14/2023

Number: 7

Didn't realize until today the little guy in the picture is an immature male ruby-throat. He was flashing his little throat patch proudly (about 1/8" in diameter). He's been here several days. Again they're hitting mostly flowers but a little bit more activity at feeders. Haven't seen an adult male for awhile. Quitting time was foreshortened by 10 minutes due to cloudiness at 7:37 p.m.
