Observation time was from 8:10pm until 8:50pm. Temperature at that time was 53 degrees down from a high of 68 degrees for a daily high and overnight expected temperature predicted at 48 degrees. Wind was at 1mph out of the NNE under partly cloudy skies. During my observation time I only sighted 3 female ruby-throated hummingbirds at my five feeders. One appeared to be a regular resident but the other two drank a long time before flying in a southward direction. However, I didn't notice any hummers getting nectar from the several varieties of Rose-of-Sharon bushes, garden phlox, hanging baskets of petunias or the zinnias.
