Juvenile hummingbird battle taken all the way to the ground. There was lots of chasing around the garden, but these 2 took their jobs seriously. They both took a really long break, sitting in the oak tree after this confrontation.

The battle lasted multiple seconds, giving me a chance to fire off some shots. Lots of loud buzzing of hummingbird wings.

Who won the battle depends on who you talk to.
