Approximately 76 monarchs seen 6:05-7:55pm before 7:39 sunset at Tip at Point Pelee National Park. 6:15 walking down west path observed a few monarchs flying north along west shoreline in toward shuttle stop area. No clusters located at Tip. 6:30 walking back up & near tower
monarchs arrived mostly from the NW flying/circling at tree tops around Tip shuttle stop & continued flitting about til about 7:55. They were very active & remained that way later this evening. They usually settle 7:30/7:40. A few did cluster; some way high up 40'+ in a Hackberry tree, & others along shuttle road at 15- 25' up & one cluster in an Oak tree. All clusters on south side of trees to get morning sunrise & warm.
Sunny & 18°c with light ESE wind @ 8 kmh. Daytime high 21°c. Overnight low 9°c.
