Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/09/2023

Number: 3

The pic is of the dominant male monarch in my area. He has claimed a patch of giant and common milkweed that is surrounded by Firebash and Lantana. He will at times chase the gulf fritillary off the Lantana. I have many eggs as well. I started to rear the caterpillars when I noticed a string of dead ones that may be due to spiders or technical flies. No pesticide use.
