From the last week of August thru the first week of September, my ruby throated hummer population went from 10 to 5, female and juveniles. How many of each I was not able to determine. By the second week of September, there were 2 left (once in a while a third would appear). At this time two still remain. I thought the male hummers were aggressive, but the females/juveniles constantly fought viciously over the feeders.
