My SIL in Enterprise KS sent me this photo & 3 more of a roost at their farm. Enterprise is an hour's drive west of Monarch Watch (Lawrence KS).

We have at least 2 varieties of milkweed on the [80 acre property], assorted native wildflowers, sunflowers, zinnias, some clover

About mid 60s, haven't really paid attention to wind direction.

Pictures were taken in hackberry and elm trees. Both are sheltered from wind. Elm in front of our house and hackberry is sheltered by a mostly cedar windbreaker.

Estimate 100 between the 2 trees, but didn't really try to count.

It was at dusk when we first noticed them. The pictures were taken about 7:30-7:45 and it quickly became dark. . . saw some tonight too, not sure how many.
