Hummingbird (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/17/2023

Number: 8

Still have eight ruby-throats, and they have consumed a quart of sugar water in four days. Not quite as much chasing and scolding at the feeders but still some bickering goes on. I'm certain three of the hummers are immature males, due to the markings beginning to appear on their throats. One of them is very bold and curious, often flying to hover a couple of feet from my face when I'm sitting quietly on my deck.
