Reported by Don Davis: Karen Anderson reports: “Monarch Butterfly roost at Presqu'ile Provincial Park , Brighton ON September 14th and September 15th, 2023. We estimated a total of 800 - 1,000 Monarchs spread out between eight trees, primarily Poplar and Willow. Photo taken at 8am on Aug 15th. Monarchs still in the shade and in their formations. I used my 600 lens as the roosts were quite a distance away at the top of mature trees.†Photo edited by Don Davis to show the monarchs.
