Monarch Fall Roost
Sightings report image

Date: 09/18/2023

Number: 40

Monarchs came in at dusk 9/17 and I found several small roosts this morning. There were a dozen or more in the jewelweed all day and then they moved to the redbud tree a few feet above at dusk. More small roosts in the other trees under the canopy. I was only able to tag 10 during the day. They were on the mexican sunflowers. Monarch waystation #14668.
