Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 09/19/2023

Number: 2

Picture taken this Tuesday morning @ 11:03 am.

At 6:46 am it was 75 degrees and the high is expected to get to 94 degrees.

Spotted two hummers first thing this morning flying about the back yard.

Around 7pm some dark clouds blew in and some thunder and a little bit of lighting and that was all we got, no rain, but we have another chance of rain around 11pm tonight.

Seems like most of the time when I looked outside, there would be a hummingbird at the Turks Cap flowers located at the back of my yard, this tiny feeder is located at the back of my yard close to Turks Caps.

Flowers available for the hummers are: Turks Cap flowers in two different locations in back yard, Tall Purple Mexican Petunias, one group in back yard and one group in my front yard, Rose Mallow bush, hanging basket of Red Petunias, a pot of Red Pentas sitting in a tall plant stand, Texas Five Star Hibiscus, I had forgot to mention them in the most recent post, that's because they don't put out flowers daily since the hot summer heat we've had, Garden Phlox, a big Crepe Myrtle tree in the front yard and I noticed today that I have little flowers on the Clematis Vine, it produces purple flowers.
