Monarch Fall Roost
Sightings report image

Date: 09/20/2023

Number: 200

We have had hundreds of Monarchs roosting each night since my first reporting on 9/11/23. They have mostly been on the south sides of the trees, but on 9/19/23 and 9/20/23, they have been on the north sides of trees. On nights when it is cloudiness and cooler, they start roosting earlier, and on warmer, sunnier nights, they roost later. It is hard to count all of them, but there have been hundreds each night.
