migration, Flurry of activity 9-1 and 9-2 mixed male juveniles, female juveniles some mature males, some tiny juveniles male & female, male defenders of feeders (I have 3 feeders in various places. Sometimes ONE male will defend all THREE!! (greedy)
Also drinking from red fuchsia and red calibrochoa hanging plants.
DETAILS: what fun watching! We were repairing a window, while being entertained by 2 juveniles flying around together, landing on a wire, flying to a tree, back to the wires, playfully dancing around all afternoon. maybe siblings? Other mixed hummingbirds were enjoying the feeders.
At least 8 different, some juv some adult m & f.
