Picture taken this Thursday evening @ 6:23 pm.
I heard a hummer this morning up in our Oak Tree, but I didn't see it. Finally seen a hummer at 12:28 at the Turks Cap located by our back fence. I was busy inside today, so I don't know if they were making much of an appearance or not.
When I went out this evening I spotted this young guy, looks like he's got a lot of darkening starting to show up on his throat.
Temp started out 77 degrees @ 6:29 am and at time this pic was taken it was 91 degrees, the high for the day. It's starting to cloud up as we have a chance for rain this evening through early tomorrow morning.
Flowers available for our hummers are: Turks Cap, Tall Purple Mexican Petunias, hanging basket of Red Petunias, pot of Red Pentas in a tall plant stand, Rose Mallow Bush, Garden Phlox, some flowers on the Clematis Vine and we've got a Big Crepe Myrtle tree in the front yard.
