This is the earliest date ever for the female and juveniles to leave from my location. Last year found them still nectaring and using the feeders until the first week of October. The year before that (2021) the depart date was around 9/22. But once a few cooler nights happened our gal was outta' here! Right before the 13th I did observe a "feeding frenzy" as she went to nearly every flowering plant on the deck and then back to the feeder multiple times until it was quite dark outside. Safe travels, little sprite! See you in April 2024!
