We've had 7 feeders up all summer. We've had up to 15 hummingbirds. But there's a lot of wild flowers in the area they enjoy. Six are still around or perhaps they are migrating birds.
Osprey are gone,
A Downey Woodpecker moved into a bird house sparrows live in! Yes!
Bats aren't as active.
Three resident Sandhill Cranes left last week, so the turkeys are happier.Though many still remain, especially ones with two colts.
Robins for most part have left.Just a few remain, some may weather out our winter in our dozens of evergreens.
Bald Eagles and they're young moved to their other site.
Black capped chickadees are increasing. Lots of Flickers are enjoying our recent rainy weather.
Owls started to hoot every night. They even enjoy a conversation with myself.
I'm sure they are looking for a mate.
