I have only spotted two ruby-throats today. The most recent population must have departed on last night's north wind. I believe the two here now are different ones, due to their behavior. One seems much shyer than any hummers here this season and the other has a different pattern of visiting the feeders and perching near them. I think they must have arrived from the north as the others headed south.
