Observed 38 Monarchs fly out of our hayfield between 1900 & 1930 hrs. A few flew into the trees across the highway, but most flew into the maple trees on the south side of the field. None roosted on the north side of the maple trees this evening, as they had the last 2 evenings. Unable to observe any individuals or clusters in the trees. Light NE wind, 79° F, 40% relative humidity.
