During walk around the perimeter of our hayfield, between 1400 & 1430 hrs today, only 1 Monarch was observed. It was nectaring on clover. Today was windy. The wind was from the ENE. Mid-70s. Sunny. Low humidity.

No Monarchs were observed leaving the hayfield this evening to roost in the maple trees south of the field. That observation was made between 1900 & 1930 hrs. Light winds this evening. 74° F. 29% relative humidity.
