I have a cottage on Lake Huron. While on the beach - a very warm day on Saturday with a light breeze coming from the south west, my friends and I counted 83 monarchs singularly migrating south along the shore between 5pm and sunset (around 7pm). Some were flying high up above the tree line and some were flying at shoulder height right along the beach. Most were flying quite quickly with purpose. I took some video as well.
