Monarch Egg Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/26/2023

Number: 3

Totally stunned! I was enjoying a female Monarch fluttering around when I realized what I was witnessing was her laying eggs on newly sprouted milkweed in my pasture. I’m not sure there is enough time for them to hatch, grow, pupate and fly away before winter arrives but I’m sure hoping these little fellas make it.
