They won't leave. We have 3 Monarchs that won't leave after laying eggs. A couple have been here for 5 days. They stop, lay and egg and then cruise around the yard. Leave at dusk and return in the morning. They fight each other. I saw one actually knock another off the milkweed. In the past years, female would stop spend a couple of hours laying eggs and then leave. This is totally new to us. Pic is one of the three on milkweed bloom today.
