This evening at dusk, we now have 3 females filling themselves for a long while at the feeder. They even tolerated my presence as I stood near the feeder. Chances are, now that the coastal storm has moved on and the temperatures tonight drop down to the mid-40’s, our hummingbirds will start their journey south in the next 3 days.
