I saw this Ruby Throated Female Hummingbird at approximately 8:30 am Central Standard Time, outside of my Wauconda Illinois kitchen window! She didn’t stay very long; just long enough to get her fill from both of the feeders that are hanging there. I will be putting up fresh nectar today, so I will be ready when the next slow pokes fly by! I only hope I don’t miss them!
