Monarch butterflies were nectaring on tickseed sunflower (Bidens aristosa) in the afternoon around 4 PM. I was able to tag 15 of them for Monarch Watch. Another Monarch was already tagged. Through the Migrant Monarch Tag Reports Facebook group, I found out it was tagged on 9/14/23 in Scarborough, Ontario. I've reported to Monarch Watch. There were at least a few other Monarchs I was not able to net.
