This is the first monarch I've seen this fall! It was exploring my native plant garden. A few plants are blooming there, but I didn't see the monarch go to the Gregg's mistflower (their absolute favorite), which was odd. We had bad hail and hard rain the night before, so I wonder if that affected my flowers' nectar & pollen supply. It's possible that I just missed the time the monarch spent in the mistflower. Welcome, monarchs!
