I spotted a transient ruby-throat nectaring from the container streptocarpellas, geraniums and tropical hibiscus on my deck. She made went from plant to plant, circled the deck and then retraced her progress. Then she chased a chickadee off the railing, perched briefly in a nearby tree, then left. I did not see her again. This is the first time I've seen a hummer since the my last one left two days ago.
