Two female RT hummingbirds continue tonight to drink deeply at our feeder, although much more cranky tonight about the presence of the other, and barely doing any nectaring at our plants. I checked what the departure date was last year in my reports, and it was a few days earlier than today's date. In 2021 it was October 1. Since the next few days will be warm, perhaps they will stick around.
