First sunny day after a week of gray rainy days. It fluttered along my back deck garden, did not alight, and kept going, heading south.
First Monarch I've seen in garden this year. Usually I see them on the Butterfly weed in the side and front gardens. There is some new milkweed nearby so maybe they went there instead.
