Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/28/2023

Number: 3

Three monarchs nectaring on the Brazilian vervain, been here for a couple of hours. Also saw one visiting our blue wood asters this morning. Though plenty of native asters and great blue lobelia blooming here, migrating monarchs always seem to favor annual zinnias and vervain (and annual tithonia as well) for nectar, so I always plant some especially for them.
