Hummingbird, Nectaring from Flowers
Sightings report image

Date: 09/28/2023

Number: 2

Picture taken Thursday morning @ 11:41 am.

Temp here in Irving, Tx @ 7:03 am was 72 degrees and got up to 96 degrees. It was a nice sunny day, our rain changes come next week around Wednesday and Thursday.

I seen a hummer come and drink from the little feeder I placed in front of my kitchen window in the mid morning while I was doing dishes.

I seen one off and on at the Turks Cap at my back fence (as in picture).

I seen two flying about the yard @ 1:32 pm.

Still plenty of flowers for them to drink from. Some flower buds on my Fire Bush have finally opened up!

Ruby Throats are what usually what I see in my yard, I have got lucky enough to see Black Chinned and a few Rufus hummingbirds.
