Sightings report image

Date: 09/29/2023

Number: 2

Picture taken Friday morning @ 11:41 am.

Temp at 7:03 am was 72 degrees and the expected high was 96 degrees. It was a nice sunny day.

This is a female or immature male Ruby Throat.

Seen two hummingbirds this morning, one was trying to get to the feeder and another came out of nowhere and scared it away. A few times I was out I would see or hear a hummer up in the Oak Tree in the back yard.

Flowers available for our hummers are: Turks Cap, Tall Purple Mexican Petunias, Morning Glories, hanging basket of Red Petunias, pot of Red Pentas in a tall plant stand, Rose Mallow Bush, Garden Phlox, some flowers on the Clematis Vine and we've got a Big Crepe Myrtle tree in the front yard.
