I saw 4 females this morning. The latest I have had hummingbirds is Oct. 19 in NE Kansas, so I recommend that you keep your feeders clean and filled at least through mid-Oct. I will leave mine up until I haven't seen any for two weeks. Leaving feeders up doesn't encourage them to stay, but might help a strangler or two make the migration south.
