Monarch PEAK Migration
Sightings report image

Date: 10/01/2023

Number: 8

Temp 82 degrees, sunny, calm winds, 52% humidity, 11:25am.

We have 8 feeding on sunflower bushes, butterfly bushes and zinnias.

All are feeding very intensely as I was able to capture a pic up close with multiple close together.

We are have a warmer than normal stretch of weather in the Midwest so this late migration does make sense as we typically see migration start to descend early in the last week of September.
