I was quite surprised today to see that our two female RTs are still here, drinking every few minutes from our feeder. Since the weather finally cleared, I had hoped they would seize the moment and start the Journey South. But they are here, and have to compete with a couple of yellow jackets that are zeroed in on the food. I will change the food tonight after dusk. I keep the feeders up through 10/8 to care for migrants from the north.
