We had 3 (2 F, 1 M) hummingbirds in our yard earlier this season. The male left fairly early on, maybe for another territory with less competition, but the 2 females remained all summer. We have salvia, cuppheas, verbena and lantana as well as a feeder out. The PW Rockin salvias (unplugged, blue suede shoes, fuschia, deep purple) are their absolute favorites. Our locals ignored the feeder for the most part but we set it out for fall migration.
