I saw a total of 14 in the vicinity of Mt. Pisgah along Blue Ridge Parkway between 11 am and 2 pm. 8 of them were nectaring together at the Mills River Valley Overlook. A hawk watcher, who has been stationed at the overlook today, said they counted a total of 40 monarchs passing by between 10:30 am and 2 pm.
