I had just exited my car at Tip parking lot when a monarch flew from the north right over me, made a left (east) turn & settled in a Hackberry tree. 5:35-7:05 before 7:06 sunset, 7 monarchs seen flying north to south along west shoreline & into interior trees. No clusters seen.
22°c, mostly sunny with SSE wind @19/23kmh. Daytime high 26c, overnight low 21°. Coldfront arriving 10/5 & temps drop. Southerly wind continues.
