My last release,a male on a day where there is a mini migration and 9 other Monarchs out in the gardens.From 2 females I ended up with 100 butterflies..47 males and 53 females.It was the year without Monarchs.Last year my number of releases was over 280.Thankful for the ones I was able to save from the many predators that reduce the survival rate of the caterpillars.
